Cycling : Julian Alaphilippe wins stage 16 of the Tour de France

Julian Alaphilippe registered his second stage victory of this year's race, while Geraint Thomas retained the yellow jersey. Stage 16 stopped for 15 minutes due to farmers’ protest and some riders had to receive treatment for the effects of pepper spray before resuming the race.
