India vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane spoke to the media on Wednesday, two days ahead of the first Test match against England in Chennai. India are high on confidence after last month's remarkable come-from-behind series win against Australia. Rahane, who captained the team in Australia in the last three Tests of that series, will move aside to become the vice-captain as Virat Kohli returns to lead the team. Both India and England are batting to seal the second-finalist spot in the World Test Championship later this year. Australia's cancellation of their Tour to South Africa on Tuesday has left India and England as the most likely contenders to take on New Zealand, who have already confirmed their place in the final. India and England will play four Test matches in the current series - with the first two Tests in Chennai and the third and fourth Tests to be played in Ahmedabad. Significantly, the first Test will be played without fans, but they will be allowed in for the second - the authorities have designated a maximum of 50 per cent of the capacity of the ground.
