Cricket News : Jadeja reflects on India's big win over Scotland

Reaction from Dubai on Friday after India thrashed Scotland by eight wickets at the T20 World Cup to keep their slim chances of reaching the semi-finals alive. India improved their win-loss record to 2-2, with a final Group 2 game to come on Monday against Namibia. Scotland were asked to bat first and were bowled out for 85 in 17.4 overs. Only George Munsey (24) and Michael Leask (21) got going for the Scots. India achieved the winning target in reaching 89-2 in just 6.3 overs, taking their net run rate above those of New Zealand and Afghanistan. But their hopes will be dashed if New Zealand beat Afghanistan on Sunday - with Pakistan already guaranteed a place in the last four, a win will take the Black Caps through. India need New Zealand to slip up in their final game to leave three sides on 6 points and net run rate deciding their fates. There were three wickets apiece for Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah became India's leading wicket-taker in T20 internationals. A 19-ball 50 from KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma's 16-ball 30 got India close before Suryakumar Yadav hit the winning runs on skipper Virat Kohli's 33rd birthday.
