Cricket News : England fans burnt with poor Ashes start

England fans left at home are despondent after their country's poor start to the first Test of the Ashes series in Australia.

The visitors got off to the worst possible start when Mitchell Starc clean bowled Rory Burns with the first ball of the match at the Gabba in Brisbane, Queensland.

An hour later England had slumped to 29/4, with captain Joe Root also dismissed for a duck.

Josh Hazlewood is doing much of the damage for Australia, with 2/23 from 10 overs, including four maidens.
