New Zealand captain Kane Williamson insisted he was "proud" of his side despite their eight-wicket defeat to Australia in the final of the T20 World Cup in Dubai on Sunday. Williamson top-scored for his side with 85 but Australia easily reached their target of 173 to win the trophy for the first time. It was New Zealand's third successive world white-ball final defeat.
