WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has ruled out fighting Deontay Wilder for the third time in Australia on December 26th, saying his wife, Paris, would divorce him if he has to fight over Christmas. Fury was reacting to a claim from promoter, Dean Lonergan, who said on Monday Australia was extremely likely to host the fight on Boxing Day as crowds are unlikely to be admitted to US venues this year, due to coronavirus. Fury's US promoter Bob Arum has also said Australia is a "real, real possibility" but also confirmed to SNTV last week the Chinese enclave of Macau is also in the running. Fury was speaking in a video chat hosted by his UK promoter Queensberry Promotions, a day before Wednesday's announcement that a "deal" had been struck to face fellow Brit Anthony Joshua in a heavyweight unification bout in 2021.
