Basketball: Bayern Munich end Anadolu Efes' winning run in the Euroleague

Bayern Munich brought Anadolu Efes' eight-game winning run in the Euroleague to a close on Friday, coming back from nine points down at half-time win 80-79. Anadolu Efes led by as many as 15 points in the second quarter, but Bayern scored 13 unanswered points either side of the break to stay in contention and went on to win for a seventh time in nine games. Vladimir Lucic led the way for Bayern with 18 points, while Jalen Reynolds finished with 14 points and pulled down nine rebounds. Wade Baldwin IV and Paul Zipser chipped in with 12 points apiece for the home side, who improved to 19-11. Anadolu Efes' Vasilije Micic topped the scoring charts with 19 points, while Shane Larkin and Rodrigue Beaubois had 16 and 14 points respectively for the visitors, who slipped down into third place in the standings with a 19-11 record.
