News: Government to launch Khelo India Girls League

In order to expand the 'Khelo India Games' the central government has decided to launch several leagues across all sports exclusively for girl athletes to encourage them to join the sport at the grassroots level and consequently groom them to excel in the discipline in coming future. The league will be known as ‘Khelo India girls league.’ The League consists of 10 to 12 sports including Badminton, Table Tennis, Boxing. League of these games will be started only for girls.
