Motorsport: F1 team McLaren start ventilator production to help coronavirus patients

McLaren have responded in top gear to help fight the coronavirus pandemic as ventilator production has begun at their McLaren Technology Centre. The manufacturer has followed in the footsteps of rival outfit Mercedes in their ventilator production. McLaren project management and purchasing teams are focused on component manufacturing for a ventilator based on existing technologies. The contribution is a joint effort from across the McLaren Group and includes McLaren Racing, McLaren Automotive and McLaren Applied.
