Red Bull's Alex Albon won the Virtual Grand Prix at Interlagos, crossing the checkered flag ahead of Williams' George Russellon and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc. The Thai-British driver secured his maiden victory, denying Charles Leclerc's third consecutive victory in a race-long duel. Pole-sitter Stoffel Vandoorne had a faltering start as Red Bull driver Albon took the lead on the first turn and exchanged it with Ferrari rival Leclerc on many occasions throughout the race.
