Motor Sport News : Razgatlioglu storms to seventh win of 2021 Superbikes World Championship

Saturday's round of the 2021 FIM Superbike World Championship saw Turkish rider Toprak Razgatlioglu (Pata Yamaha with Brixx WorldSBK) storm to his seventh victory of the season at Magny-Cours in France. Razgatlioglu grabbed the lead from championship Jonathan Rae on the fourth lap and powered to the line to win by more four seconds. Defending world champion Rae came in second to limit the damage and will take a slender five-point lead into the second race on Sunday. Alex Lowes had looked well set for the final podium spot only to crash with five laps to go, promoting Razgatlioglu's Yamaha teammate Andrea Locatelli to third place, the rookie taking his third podium of the season.
