IPL 2021 : Do-or-die game for Rajasthan against Chennai in Abu Dhabi

A win would keep it in contention for the playoffs, while a loss would severely dent its chances, as it is coming off a defeat to third-placed Bangalore. Chennai are placed on the top with nine wins from 11 matches with 18 points, while it would still aim for success to consolidate the top two spots. It is coming off a win against bottom-placed Hyderabad. The win against Hyderabad helped three time champions Chennai become the first team to book a playoff berth. Chennai would look to continue with the momentum and finish on top-2 by the end of league stage. For inaugural Champions Rajasthan every match is a must win game for them in order to make it to the play-offs.
