Tennis : Top seed Dominic Thiem loses in two tie-break sets to Andrey Rublev in the quarter-finals

Andrey Rublev recorded the biggest win of his career on Friday, defeating top seed Dominic Thiem 7-6(3), 7-6(5) in the quarter-finals of the Hamburg Open. The 21-year Russian staved off two breaks of serve in the first set against the world number four. Rublev - the world number 78 - faces Italian Fabio Fognini or Pablo Carreno Busta of Spain in the semis.
