Rafael Nadal kept his campaign for a first Indian Wells title since 2013 on track with a 6-3, 6-1 thrashing of Diego Schwartzman in the third round. The three-time champion was in imperious form as he won all eight of his service games without facing a break point, while managing to force four breaks on Schwartzman's delivery. The win was the latest in a strong start to the season for Nadal, who reached the Australian Open final in January. Schwartzman has now lost all seven of his matches against Nadal, with five of the defeats coming in straight sets. Nadal will face qualifier Filip Krajinovic in the next round after the Serb upset 14th seed Daniil Medvedev.
