Tennis: Kerber sweeps aside Halep to reach the semi-finals at Eastbourne

Angelique Kerber saw off Simona Halep in straight sets to reach the semi-finals at Eastbourne on Thursday. Kerber secured a 6-4, 6-3 win as she continues her fine run of form on grass ahead of the defence of her single's title at Wimbledon.
