Tennis: Bertens thrashes Ferro to win virtual Madrid Open

Kiki Bertens recorded a comfortable victory in the final of the virtual Madrid Open as she hammered France's Fiona Ferro 6-2. Berens had defeated Simona Halep in last year's 'real' Madrid Open final and hence the Belgian was crowned Madrid champion for a second year in succession after the ‘virtual’ victory.
