Defending champion Nikoloz Basilashvili beat Andrey Rublev in three sets to reclaim the Hamburg Open title. Basilashvili secured a 7-5, 4-6, 6-3 win after two hours and eight minutes on Centre Court for back-to-back victories in Germany. The fourth-seeded Basilashvili became the first Georgian to win an ATP Tour title in 2018 in Hamburg when he qualified before beating two-time winner Leonardo Mayer in the final.
