Indian women's team beat South Korea 2-1 in the 2nd match of the three-match series to take an unassailable 2-0 lead. Lee Seungju gave South Korea the lead in the 19th minute through a field goal as India's defence failed to stop her. The goal in the 2nd quarter did not affect India's morale as they made a terrific comeback in the third quarter. Indian skipper Rani Rampal scored a sensational goal in the 37th minute to equalize. Thirteen minutes later Navjot Kaur scored the second goal in the 50th minute to take the team's score to 2-1.
