The Indian hockey team played extremely well in the recently concluded Champions Trophy where they defeated Olympic Champions Argentina and arch rivals Pakistan and played out draws with Netherlands and Belgium in the league stage. The team might have lost to Australia but they displayed a valiant performance to end runners-up in the prestigious event. India coach Harendra Singh is extremely proud of the way his boys played. He is now eyeing a gold medal in the Asian Games and is also confident of India doing well in the world Cup.
