Football: Vietnam cruise to final of women’s football at SEA Games

Vietnam defeated the hosts Philippines 2-0 in the semi-finals of women’s football at the South East Asian Games 2019. The visitors scored twice in the second half and went past Philippines women's national team to seal their berth in the final of women's football in SEA Games. Vietnam had reached the semifinals as Group B winners finishing above regional superpower Thailand.
