Football: UAE defeat North Korea 2-0 in AFC U-23 Championship

Khalifa Al Hammadi scored for UAE in the 17th minute while Zayed Al Ameri doubled the lead for UAE in the 30th minute. UAE beat North Korea 2-0 in AFC U-23 Championship Group D. The UAE victory has moved them onto four points after they drew 0-0 with 2018 runners-up Vietnam in their opening match. Jordan also on four points, after their opening 2-1 win over North Korea, but behind the UAE on goal difference at the top of the group.
