Football: PAOK beat Levadiakos to restore eight-point lead in Super League Greece

Goals either side of half-time propelled PAOK to a 2-1 win over hosts Levadiakos, restoring their eight-point lead over Olympiacos at the top of the Super League Greece standings. The visitors dominated the first half and finally broke the deadlock in the 41st minute - Aleksandar Prijovic with a fine finish from Leo Jaba's flick. Diego Biseswar, who had threatened the Levadiakos goal on a couple of occasions in the first half, doubled PAOK's lead in the first minute of the second half. Georgios Zisopoulos then halved the deficit in the 75th minute with a well-taken volley from Marko Stanojevic corner kick, but PAOK held on for a fifth successive league win. Razvan Lucescu's side remain unbeaten in the current Super League season and have now won 13 of their 14 matches.
