Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Scott McTominay has the tools to help Manchester United rediscover their trophy-winning ways. Solskjaer: “He’s been a part of the club for so long, Scotty [McTominay], and we’re delighted that he can see his future here, immediate and long-term future. It’s five years. 2025 plus an option [for another year], and Scotty has been developing so much the last few years. I watched him before I came in as well. I was excited to come in and work with him, and he’s such a humble, hardworking boy with the Man United DNA. He knows what it takes to go through the ranks and he’s a leader on the pitch. Very, very happy that we managed to convince him [to extend], or that we, together, are going to work towards winning trophies together.”
