Football: Laos beat Philippines 3-2 in Under-23 Asia Tokyo 2020 Olympic qualifying Group J

Laos came from behind to beat Philippines 3-2 in the 2020 AFC Under-23 Championship qualifier Group J in the Malaysia's Shah Alam Stadium on Tuesday. Javier Gayoso's two goals in the first half gave the Filipino team a comfortable lead at the break. However, Laos reacted into the second half scoring all three goals to secure Laos' only victory of the campaign. China and Malaysia, also from Group J, will meet for the automatic qualification place for the AFC Under-23 Championship in Thailand in 2020 later on Tuesday. The winner plus the best other two teams in the tournament will qualify for the 2020 Summer Olympics men's football tournament.
