Football: Inter are very much underdogs to Real Madrid - Conte

The Inter boss bristled at suggestions that his side are favourites to top Group B ahead of Real Madrid. Antonio Conte: “I don’t know if in Madrid people think that we are the favourites in the group stage. We talk about the team that won the last [LaLiga title], with a squad which is worth more than 100 million [euros]. Real Madrid is a team that won the UEFA Champions League many times. When people say that Real Madrid are the underdog it makes me smile a bit. I believe considerations must be made seriously to avoid saying silly things. If we question Real Madrid only because they did not do anything in the transfer market this year, this means that football is changing and that I am losing touch with reality."
