Football: Ajax defeat Sparta 2-1 in Eredivisie

Donny van de Beek opened the scoring from close range in 15th minute for Ajax. Ryan Gravenberch doubled the lead for Ajax in the 60th minute. Sparta’s Joel Piroe scored a goal in the 74th minute, but number one side Ajax prevailed to win 2-1 and moved six points clear at the top of Eredivisie.
