Bangladesh trained in preparation for the upcoming Asia Cup ODI tournament in Dubai, with their star batsman Shakib Al Hasan showing no signs of injury. Confusion prevailed soon after the squad was named by the Bangladesh Cricket Board as Al Hasan reportedly said he was unfit and needed a surgery on his finger. The 31-year-old allayed all fears as he batted in the nets and took part in fielding drills during the team's first training session in Dubai. Bangladesh take on Sri Lanka in the opening match of the tournament on 15th September with their second against Afghanistan on September 20th.
