Cricket: Kohli, Rohit, Stokes and Cummins win ICC awards

England all-rounder Ben Stokes won the 2019 ICC Cricketer of the Year award. He claimed the Sir Garfield trophy for his contributions in Test and ODIs in 2019. Australia fast bowler Pat Cummins secured the 2019 ICC Test Player of the Year award, while India batsman Rohit Sharma won 2019 ICC ODI Player of the Year award. India captain Virat Kohli won the 2019 ICC Spirit of Cricket award for his gesture during the 2019 World Cup match against Australia, where Kohli encouraged the crowd to support Steve Smith rather than boo him. The former Australia skipper was playing the match after his return to international cricket from a one-year suspension.
