Archery News: IOA chief requests World Archery to lift AAI’s suspension

The Archery Association of India conducted their much-anticipated elections on Jan 18 in New Delhi in which Union Minister Arjun Munda was elected as president of the federation by clean sweeping the Chandigarh camp led-by BVP Rao with a comfortable margin of 34-18. Now With the Archery Association of India (AAI) conducting elections on January 20 and electing new office-bearers, Indian Olympic Association President Narinder Batra has written to the World Archery President Ugur Erdener and requested him to lift the ban on AAI so that the association can start preparing for the Tokyo Olympics.
