Renato Paratore has won the European Tour British Masters at Close House by three shots, shooting a final round 69, ahead of Dane Rasmus Hojgaard (70) and South Africa's Justin Harding (72). The Italian began Day 4 a stroke ahead at -16 and yet to drop a shot, but looked in danger of losing his lead when he bogeyed twice in three holes, midround. However a bogey for Hojgaard on the 15th gave Paratore breathing space and he easily putted for victory as Miguel Angel Jimenez and other players applauded from the edge of the 18th green. Paratore finished at -18, with Hojgaard at -15, Harding at -14 and English trio Andy Sullivan, Robert Rock and Dale Whitnell all on -13.
