Johannes Veerman picked up his first European Tour title on Sunday with a two shot victory at the Czech Masters in Prague. The 29 year-old American shot a four under par 68 in his final round to reach 15-under overall, two strokes clear of fellow countryman Sean Crocker and Finland's Tapio Pulkkanen. Overnight leader Pulkkanen appeared to be in the driving seat with the clubhouse in sight as three birdies in five holes on the back nine took him to 16-under. However, he dropped a shot at the 17th and double-bogeyed the last after putting his second shot into the water. That effectively handed the trophy to Veerman. Another American, Paul Paterson, finished a further shot back at 12-under, alongside 2016 Open champion Henrik Stenson of Sweden.
