Former world number one Ko Jin-young completed a one-shot win at the Volunteers of America Classic in Texas on Sunday. The South Korean started her final round one shot clear at the top of the leaderboard and carded three birdies across the first four holes. Ko had to roll in a par putt at the 18th to seal the win though, finishing with a two-under-par 69 to end the weekend at 16-under - one clear of Finland's Matilda Castren. It was an eighth win on the LPGA Tour for Ko. Gaby Lopez finished third on 14-under, while Esther Henseleit, Emma Tally and Ana Belac were two further shots off the pace in a tie for fourth place.
