Matilda Castren ensured Europe's successful defence of the trophy they won two years at Gleneagles when she beat Lizette Salas 1UP - the visiting team taking a 14-11 lead with three matches to be completed. Jessica Korda and Yealimi Noh kept the USA in the hunt for a draw following respective wins over Charley Hull and Mel Reid. But Emily Kristine Pedersen won the final match to seal the victory for Europe, beating Danielle Kang 1UP.
