Golf: Late birdies give Jessica Korda one-shot lead over Jin-young Ko at LA Open

Jessica Korda birdied the final two holes to come back and finish with a one-shot lead over Jin-young Ko at 16-under-par after the third round of the LA Open on Friday. Korda started the day with a three shot lead, but after opening with three straight birdiies, the American stumbled as the world-number-one Ko moved to the top by two-shots after a birdie on fourteen. But Ko bogeyed the last to finish with a 66 while Korda recovered with a birdie on eighteen for a 68 to give her a slim lead heading into Saturday's final round at Wilshire Country Club.
