India's golden boy in athletics Neeraj Chopra got a hero's welcome in India and after landing in India the Javelin Thrower has realized the magnitude of his achievement. The Athletics Federation of India not only felicitated him but they have also kept 7th of August as a 'National Javelin Day' to honour his historic achievement and also to encourage young kids to take up Javelin Throw as a career. His parents too are really proud of his achievements. Neeraj Chopra is not only the first Indian athlete to win an Olympic gold but he is only the second Indian individual after Abhinav Bindra to do so. The craziness of the fans on his arrival speaks volumes about his achievements and now his next target is a World Championship medal.
