Tottenham Hotspur secured a thrilling 3-2 win over Southampton in the fourth round replay to advance further in the FA Cup. The victory cleared Tottenham’s motivation to replace Mauricio Pochettino with Jose Mourinho. The FA Cup fourth-round win established Mourinho’s “serial winner” tag for one more time, which the Spurs wanted to guide them to silverware. Tottenham’s prospect to advance in the group of 16 were bleak when Danny Ings put Southampton 2-1 up in the 72nd minute. Yet Spurs found a way to take things forward. Lucas Moura level it 2-2 in the 78th minute and Son Heung-Min's late penalty helped Tottenham secure a thrilling 3-2 victory in the 87th minute in London. Mourinho's side will face Norwich City in the fifth round.
