Football: Tottenham beat Bayern Munich on penalties to win the Audi Cup

Tottenham Hotspur lifted the Audi Cup after beating tournament hosts Bayern Munich in a penalty shoot-out on Wednesday - 'Spurs' squandering a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 after 90 minutes. Erik Lamela opened the scoring and Christian Eriksen doubled Tottenham's lead just before the hour-mark. Jann-Fiete Arp pulled a goal back just two minutes after Eriksen's strike though and Alphonso Davies levelled the score with a fine curling effort in the 81st minute. The match would be decided by penalties, with both sides missing spot-kicks early in the shoot-out. Boateng's attempt would prove the difference though - goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga turning the Germany international's shot wide to seal the victory for Tottenham.
