Sri Pahang defeated Sabah 2-1 on Tuesday for its first win of the 2021 Malaysia Super League season. Former Ukrainian youth international Yevhen Bokhashvili scored the opener in the 55th minute then Lee Tuck added another fifteen minutes later to stake the hosts to a 2-0 lead. Saddil Ramdani scored ten minutes from stoppage time to cut the Pahang advantage in half, but the visitors from Borneo were unable to equalise.
