PSG’s Nadia Nadim shared her inspiring struggle. Nadia’s father, who served for the Afghan National Army, was executed by the Taliban in 2000. Nadia’s family then took shelter in Denmark. The 31-year-old striker is an inspiration for the women’s division in Afghanistan. Her contribution helped Denmark to reach the 2017 Euro final. Nadia Nadim had played for Sky Blue, Portland Thorns and Manchester City before making a move to Paris.
