Football News : Javi Garcia starts with a win, as Al Sadd beats Al Khor 3-0 in the Qatar Stars League

Ghanaian Andre Ayew scored twice to help Al Sadd to a 3-0 victory over Al Khor Saturday in the tenth round of the Qatari League.

Javi Garcia, who took over for Xavi Hernandez as Al Sadd's manager, started his tenure on a good note when Akram Affix scored in just the third minute. Ayew followed with goals in the 25th and 40th minutes to put Al Saad up 3-nil at the break and goalkeeper Yousef Abdullah maintained a clean sheet the rest of the way.

The victory, combined with Al Duhail's 2-1 loss to Umm Salal, put Al Saad safely atop the standings by six points. Al Khor remains at the bottom, having yet to win this season.
