Football: 'Messi and Ronaldo my role models' - new Barcelona striker Francisco Trincao

Barcelona officially introduced new striker Francisco Trincao on Tuesday, the day after Lionel Messi's shock announcement that he wanted to leave the club. Barcelona said it had agreed to pay Portuguese club Braga 31 million euros ($US 34 million) to acquire the 20-year-old Trincao on a five-year contract. Since debuting with Braga in December 2018, Trincao has scored three goals in 29 matches. While Trincao's unveiling may have been overshadowed by news of Messi's decision, Trincao stressed that he wanted the Argentine to stay. "Of course I want him to stay, but that isn't for me to answer. We'll see what happens," he told the media.
