Holders Manchester City hammered Port Vale 4-1 at home and booked their place in the 4th round of the FA Cup. Manchester City took a 1-0 lead through Oleksandr Zinchenko after 20 minutes. Vale posted the 35th-minute equaliser through Tom Pope's precise header. Sergio Aguero put City 2-1 ahead seven minutes later in the first half. The third goal came in the 58th minute after a VAR check for a possible offside, the goal was awarded to Taylor Harwood-Bellis. City’s Foden sealed the match in the 76th minute.
