Football : Manchester City banned from next two Champions Leagues by UEFA

Manchester City have been banned from the Champions League for the next two seasons after UEFA found them to have committed "serious breaches" of their financial fair play regulations. They have also been fined 30million euros by UEFA's Club Financial Control Body. The finding follows an investigation brought about by leaked emails and documents which appeared in the German magazine Der Spiegel. The club said in a statement they were "disappointed but not surprised" by the "prejudicial" decision and say they will appeal.
