Football: Liverpool sign Shaqiri from Stoke

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City. After returning from the World Cup, the attacker has signed a long-term Anfield deal. The Switzerland international was relegated with the Potters at the end of last season. Shaqiri joins for a reported 13.75 million pounds.
