Kuwait Sports Club beat Syria's Al Ittihad 2-0 to keep alive their hopes of making it to the knockout stages of the AFC Cup. Jomma Saeed notched a brace on either side of half-time to give the Kuwaiti outfit the much-needed three points, putting them second in Group B on ten points.
