Victor Font - one of three remaining candidates to be the next president of Barcelona - has reiterated his plans to bring Xavi Hernandez back to the club in a managerial capacity if he wins the election on 7th March. Font told media and fans on Thursday he is surprised that Al Sadd manager Xavi's "name isn't mentioned more", adding: "I think foremost in what's best for Barca." The 48-year-old from nearby Granollers was questioned about his criticism of fellow candidate - and former club president - Joan Laporta, but Font insisted: "We are running an electoral campaign and we must logically compare options. I must explain why my option is better than the other ones, or else I'd rather stay at home and do nothing." Laporta, who was in charge of Barca from 2003-2010 when they won the Champions League twice and clinched four La Liga titles, is the current front runner in the election. Antoni Frexia is the third candidate for the club's presidency.
