Porto secured their 29th Portuguese title on Wednesday. They welcomed fierce rivals Sporting to Estadio do Dragao knowing that a draw would make them unreachable for defending champions Benfica with 2 matches to spare. And they secured the title in style with a 2-0 win. Danilo and Moussa Marega scored second-half goals to help the hosts to their fifth straight win. Porto only led Benfica by one point when the campaign resumed after the lockdown last month but now have an eight-point lead at the summit.
