Football: Champions League, Europa League, Euro play-offs suspended due to coronavirus pandemic

UEFA suspended all Champions League and Europa League matches until further notice due to the COVID-19 crisis. European football’s governing body also announced that all international matches to be taken place in June have been postponed. It includes the Euro play-off matches, which have been pushed back to 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. UEFA boss had said last week the season could be lost if play does not start by end of June. UEFA is looking at possibility of completing the European club competitions with a mini-tournament.
