Atalanta defeated Napoli 2-0 on Thursday with second-half goals from Mario Pasalic and Robin Gosens to claim their seventh victory in a row in Serie A. Atalanta's last defeat in the Italian league was in January, when they were beaten 2-1 at home by SPAL. Since then, Gian Piero Gasperini's players won seven matches and drew one, scoring 32 goals and conceding 11. They have a 12-point advantage over fifth-placed Roma. Napoli, on the other hand, were defeated for the first time since Serie A return after lockdown, following a five-game winning streak.
