Football: Al Ahed beat Al Suwaiq 4-2 in Group C of AFC Cup

Lebanon's Al Ahed registered their first win of their 2019 AFC Cup campaign with a 4-2 home win against Oman's Al Suwaiq. Nour Mansour got the hosts off to a dream start with a goal inside the first minute before Mohammad Jalal Qadoh doubled their advantage on 16 minutes. Suwaiq pulled one back before the break with Thamir Al Zaabi getting the goal in the 37th minute. Into the second half and Jalal restored Al Ahed's two-goal advantage on the hour mark. Jalal then completed his hat-trick on 69 minutes to make it 4-1. Khalil Ibrahim scored Suwaiq's second of the match in the 85th minute, but Al Ahed were comfortable winners. Al Ahed have five points at the halfway point in AFC Cup Group C, while Al Suwaiq have lost all three of their matches.
